Alice D. Plucinski age 93 of Manistee, Michigan died Monday evening, May 21, 2018 at the Cedar Ridge AFC Home in Brethren, Michigan. She was born on February 18, 1925 in Manistee, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Isabelle (Wittlief) Kapalczynski. She attended school at Manistee High School.

Alice married Joseph J. Plucinski on January 27, 1945 in Manistee. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1994. She had been employed as a machine operator for forty-five years, working at the Manistee Garment Factory and the Glen of Michigan. She was a member of the Divine Mercy Parish of Manistee (Saint Mary of Mount Carmel Shrine Church), where she was a member of the church choir.

Alice is survived by her son, Frank Plucinski, two granddaughters, Gloria and Traci Plucinski and one great grandson, Liam Plucinski-Kendrick all of Manistee. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

She was preceded in death by Twin sons: Joseph and Theodore Plucinski, two sisters: Marie Pachesny and Bernadine Disbrow and by two brothers and a sister in-law: Aloizy Kapalczynski and Thomas and Kathy Kapalczynski.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Saint Mary of Mount Carmel Shrine Church in Manistee with Reverend Zeljko Guberovic celebrant. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery also in Manistee.

A memorial will be established in Alice's name for Saint Mary of Mount Carmel Shrine Church in Manistee. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and will be available at the church on Wednesday morning.
