Andrew "Andy" LaMunyon age 28 of Onekama, Michigan, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan.

He was born on September 18, 1989 in Detroit, Michigan son of Todd and Kelly (Zwiefka) LaMunyon of Onekama. He was a graduate of Manistee High School with the Class of 2007. Andy lived life to the fullest, as the quote goes "better to burn out, then fade away". He had a fascination for "speed" and being in the outdoors, he enjoyed cars, motorcycles, snowboarding, and auto racing as well as working on all of his motor vehicles. He also had a great passion for the Z-28 Camaro automobile.

He is survived by his parents, Todd and Kelly LaMunyon of Onekama, his sister Shelby LaMunyon (Adam Miller) both of Manistee, his maternal grandmother, Janet Zwiefka of Manistee. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Irvin Zwiefka and his paternal grandparents, Paul and Donna (Lankford) LaMunyon.

A celebration of Andy's life will take place at 7:00 PM at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee, on Saturday evening, May 26, 2018. Andy's family will receive friends on Saturday evening, one hour prior to the celebration of his life.
