Ann Irene Beaudrie age 85 of Branch, Michigan, formerly of Manistee, died early Friday morning, March 31, 2017 at the home of her daughter and son in-law, Dawn and Richard Green after a long battle with cancer. Irene was born on June 5, 1931 in Ecorse, Michigan daughter of the late Leo and Ida (Pattenaude) St. Lawrence. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School in River Rouge, Michigan. Irene married James J. Beaudrie Sr. on June 5, 1952 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in River Rouge, Michigan. Jim preceded her in death on September 22, 1995. They moved to Manistee in 1969, where they owned and operated the Moonlite Motel and Marina until her retirement in 2003. Irene loved spending time with her children and their families, she also enjoyed singing in the choir, dancing, going to the casino, the Senior Center in Scottville, canoeing and the beach, reading and working on cross word puzzles. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Custer, Michigan.

She is survived by her children and their spouse's; Dawn and Richard Green, James and Donna Beaudrie Jr., and Cathy and David Cannon, her grandchildren; Paul J. and Jen Wakulat, Jim and Amanda Young, Paul B. Golembiewski, Jeremy Cooley, Quentin Green and Angela Beadle, Eric Golembiewski and Nikki Kolean, Tabitha Green, James and Betsy Beaudrie III, Debra Beaudrie, Chad and Jessica Beaudrie, Bruce and Courtney Johnson, Dalton Willard, Taylor Willard, David and Rachel Cannon and Nick and Heather Cannon, her great grandchildren; Kylie, Madden, Rayanne, McKenzie, Braxtin, Katelynn, Kialynn, Jerelynn, Chelsea, Sydney, Landyn, Owen, Chloe, Ryder, Journey, Trent, Helana, Mary, Damion, Dylan, Devyn. Nikki, Abby, Haley, Connor, Keira, Giavanna and Alessandra, her two sisters and a brother in-law; Lenore and Arthur Young and Ruth "Pat" Robertson. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

Irene was preceded in death by her Husband James "Jim" Beaudrie Sr., her son in-law, David Allen Willard and her granddaughter in-law, Patricia (Modrzynski) Beaudrie.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee, with Reverend Daniel DePew celebrant. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery also in Manistee.

The family will receive friends at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday morning, from 10:00 AM until leaving for the church at 10:40 AM.

In Lieu of Flowers the family would like you to consider a donation in Irene's name to either the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of funeral arrangements.
