Barbara Ann Jados, Age 81, of Stronach, passed away peacefully at home on May 18th, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She was born May 15, 1943 in Manistee, daughter of the late Edward and Ethel (Richards) Helminiak. She graduated from Onekama High School in 1961, and on June 24th, 1961, married Floyd M. Jados at St Joseph's Church in Manistee. She spent majority of her working years in the food industry and enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and dancing.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd, son and daughter in law Daniel and Donna Jados of Stronach, grandson Edward (Aisling) Jados of Grand Rapids, granddaughters Katey (DJ) McGrath of Manistee and Cheyenne Hickman of Kalkaska, 2 great grandsons, Hudson Dake and Jamie McGrath and sister and brother-in-law Sally and Wayne Overla of Manistee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Duane Jados, siblings Doug  Richards and Gloria Flater, a brother-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 24, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Divine Mercy Parish (St. Joseph Catholic Church) in Manistee with Reverend Mitchel Roman celebrant. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery also in Manistee.

The family will receive friends at the church on Friday morning one hour prior to the funeral Mass.
