Blondine Audrey
Goslinoski
Jul 6, 1929 — Feb 1, 2023
Blondine Audrey Goslinoski was greeted in Heaven by her late husband, Ray, on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at the age of 93.
Blondine was born on July 6, 1929 in Manistee, Michigan, daughter of the late Casmir and Rose (Chycinski) Kukla. She grew up attending St. Joe's school and met her lifelong love, Raymond Goslinoski, through her brother Al Kukla. Blondine and Ray were married on August 12th, 1950 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee. Throughout their lives they loved to spend their time traveling with their friends and siblings, whether it be to great sites such as the Grand Canyon, or simply around the state to ball games. Blondine also spent a lot of her time enjoying golf with the ladies while their husbands were at work. Ray and Blondine spent numerous years spreading joy around Manistee as the beloved Mr. and Mrs. Claus at both the VFW and the American Legion's children's parties, along with visiting families in their homes on Christmas Eve.
Blondine was also well known for her beautiful seamstress creations sewing countless wedding gowns for family, friends, and others. She enjoyed many years in the home Ray built for them, making delicious meals and spending time with family, reading books, and always making sure that her birds outside were well-fed year-round. Blondine moved in with her daughter Karen and spent the last year of her life constantly surrounded by her children, granddaughters, and five great granddaughters. She was at her happiest watching her great granddaughters play and tell her stories, doing her word search books, and of course, watching the birds. Blondine was living at her daughter's home in Manistee when she passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Goslinoski, her sisters Helen Makinen (Evert), Irene Kuczynski (Roddy), Virginia Yoder (Floyd), and her brothers Joe Kukla (Mary), and Al Kukla (Margaret).
She is survived by her sister Margaret Martin, her daughters Carol (Joe) DuVall , Karen Roberts, and Dr. Lois Goslinoski, her granddaughters Lindsay (Matthew) Umlauf, Taylor (Steve) Morey, and Melanie Keyes, her great grandchildren Norah Umlauf, Celia Umlauf, Tessa Umlauf, Reagan Morey, Audrey Morey, and Austin James and numerous nieces and nephews. Blondine's family would like to send their love and thanks to two very special women, Laura Kramer and Katrina Genter of Hospice of Michigan, who provided her incredible care and kindness in the last year of her life. She loved you both very much.
Cremation has taken place and funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee with Reverend Zeljko Guberovic officiating. Final interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery also in Manistee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 18, 2023, one hour prior to the funeral service.
The family asks that if you wish to send something in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Blondine to Hospice of Michigan. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of funeral arrangements.
