Charles "Pete" Plambeck, age 84, of Stronach, Michigan, died Sunday night, January 4, 2026 at his home with his wife at his side. He was born on January 21, 1941 in Grand Rapids, Michigan son of the late Everett and Lelah (Hardie) Plambeck. He served in the United States Air Force from January 21 1961 until his discharge on July 8, 1964. Pete married Noella S. Christensen on May 1, 1999 in Alma, Michigan. He was employed for thirty-eight years with the Frigidaire Company in Greenville, Michigan, until his retirement in 2003. Pete was an avid sportsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially fly fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Noella Plambeck of Stronach, MI, his children; Chris (Rich) Stora, Chris (Dale) Rasmussen, Lynette (Jamie) Paxson and Doug (Darlene) Christensen, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and his sister-in-law, Ruth Plambeck.

According to Pete's wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of funeral arrangements.
