Christine M. (Froncek) Kolanowski age 84, of Manistee, Michigan died Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital.

She was born in Stronach, Michigan on February 7, 1936, daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret (Jados) Froncek. Chris was a graduate of Manistee High School with the class of 1953. She married Jerome J. Kolanowski on August 28, 1976 in Manistee, Michigan. Chris was employed in the office at Packaging Corporation of America until her retirement. One of her favorite pass times was growing and tending to her flower garden. She was a member of the Divine Mercy Parish of Manistee, (St. Joseph Catholic Church).

Chris is survived by her husband, Jerome J. Kolanowski of Manistee, MI, her sister Caroline Milarch of Manistee, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters and brother's in-law, Elizabeth and Fred Guenthardt, Alvina and Milo "Mike" Uhl, Dolores and Raymond Kubacki, her brother and sister in-law, Daniel and Joan Froncek and her brother in-law, Darwin Milarch.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee with Reverend Zeljko Guberovic celebrant. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery also in Manistee. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday morning one hour prior to the funeral mass.
