Christopher M. Stewart, age 45 of Manistee, died unexpectedly November 12, 2019 at his home. He was born July 28, 1974 in Altoona, PA, son of Thomas & Lynn (Cooney) Stewart. He married Wendy L. Stine July 30, 1999 in Altoona, PA. He was employed with Whitehall Industries, BCS, Graceland Fruit of Wisconsin and most recently with Graceland Fruit Michigan. Chris loved hunting, bonfires and the outdoors. He especially loved spending time with his grandkids.

He leaves behind his wife, Wendy; 3 sons, Christopher (Mariah Cole) Stewart, Kaleb Stewart all of Manistee and Kyle Stewart of Altoona, PA; 4 grandchildren, Atticus, Laekin, Alexander and Michael; his parents, Thomas & Lynn Stewart of Altoona, PA; 3 Brothers, Joey, Billy and Brian Stewart; 5 sisters, Sherry, Laura, Jamie, Kimmy and Melissa Stewart; his paternal grandmother, Ina Stewart and maternal grandmother, Shirley Cooney. His good friends, Lee Stein and Hank Shumaker also survive him. In addition to his family and friends, he will also be missed by their dog "Prince".

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandfathers Charlie Stewart and William Cooney.

Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.

The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee has been entrusted to final arrangements.
