Delwin "Deli" J. Hayhoe, age 82 of Manistee, MI died Monday, May 18, 2015 at West Shore Medical Center in Manistee.

He was born September 2, 1932 in Lansing, Michigan son of the late Osmund and Selma E. (Laboda) Hayhoe. He served in the United States Army as a Corporal with the 24th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion, during the Korean War from January 21, 1953 until January 14, 1955. He was a member of the Catholic Community of Manistee.

He was preceded in death by his mother Selma E. Hayhoe, his father Osmund Hayhoe and by his brother Gerald P. Hayhoe.

A Memorial Mass from The Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Manistee with Reverend John McCracken celebrant. Military Honors will be given at the church on Monday, following the mass, by the members of the Manistee County United Veterans Council Ritual Squad. Final interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery also in Manistee. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday morning, one hour prior to the funeral mass. The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of funeral arrangements.
