Estefana "Stephanie" (Vasquez) Edgington, age, 77 of Manistee, Michigan died Friday, December 15, 2023, at her home, after a short illness.

She was born on October 5, 1946, in Sebastian, Texas, and was the daughter of the late Simon and Irene (Ramirez) Vasquez. Stephanie married James B. Edgington on September 20, 1975, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Shrine Church in Manistee. James preceded her in death on December 16, 2011. Stepanie spent most of her time, raising her children and as they grew older, she was employed as the manager of the Oleson's Food Store Bakery in Manistee, until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and had a great love, for being in the kitchen and cooking for them.

She is survived by her daughter, Norma Edgington (Jason Lott) of Manistee, MI, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Steven and Jenny Edgington and Daniel Edgington (Kayla Day) all of Manistee, MI, seven grandchildren, her sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Alan Mattison of Manistee, MI, six brothers and three sisters-in-law, Cruz Vasquez, Ruben and Juanita Vasquez, Raul and Jean Vasquez Sr., Roberto and Peggy Vasquez all of Manistee, MI, Martin Vasquez of Port Charlotte, FL, Marcos Vasquez of Baton Rouge, LA, two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Michael Edgington and David and Vickie Edgington all of Manistee, MI. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

Stephanie was also preceded in death by her, daughter Ann Marie Edgington and by her nephew, Roger Vasquez.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee with Reverend Michael Lingaur officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery also in Manistee.

Relatives and friends will pray the Evening Vigil Service at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday morning, one hour prior to the funeral service.
