James "Jamie" Nottingham age 50, of Manistee, died peacefully with his wife and son at his side, on Tuesday evening, November 2, 2021 at St. Mary's Mercy Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Jamie was born on August 14, 1971 in Kalamazoo, Michigan son of Sharon (Haas) Nottingham and the late Ronald J. Nottingham. He was a graduate of Plainwell High School in Allegan County, Michigan with the class of 1990.

Early in his career he was employed as a fire fighter paramedic for the Fire Department and now he has been serving currently and for the past 25 years as a paramedic. Jamie married Michelle L. Sirrine on April 9, 2003 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. They moved to Manistee, to make their home, after their marriage. One of his greatest passions was trying out new recipes, with his friends and family.

Jamie is survived by his wife; Michelle L. Nottingham, his son; Maxwell Nottingham, his mother; Sharon Nottingham all of Manistee, and his brother David Nottingham of Portage, Michigan.

Jamie was preceded in death by his father Ronald J. Nottingham.

Memorial Services will be held, Saturday morning, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Manistee Catholic Central High School Gym at 1500 US 31 Highway, South, Manistee, Michigan. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee

The family will receive friends at the Herbert Funeral Home, at 706 Kosciusko Street, Manistee, Michigan on Friday evening, November 12, 2021 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and at the school gym on Saturday morning, one hour prior to Jamie's memorial service.
