Jennifer Lynn Miller, age 47, of Manistee, Michigan, died Friday morning, December 26, 2023 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan.

She was born on Earth Day, April 22, 1976 in Manistee, Michigan and is the daughter of Phyllis Lynette (Nelson) Miller and the late John Joseph Miller Jr. Jennifer was a graduate of Onekama High School with the class of 1994. She enjoyed spending time with her children and family. Jennifer loved the outdoors and growing flowers and vegetables in her garden. She loved to vacation and spend time with her family, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Jennifer was an excellent cook and enjoyed spending her quiet time reading. During her working career, she was the manager of several of the Dollar Stores in the Manistee area and most recently was employed with Dial A Ride, in helping the ISD students as a support staff member.

Jennifer is survived by her son Chance Massie, her daughter Isis Massie both of Manistee, MI, her mother Phyllis (Nelson) Miller of Arcadia, MI, two sisters and a brother- in-law, Jill and Eric Trantham of Shelby MI, and Michelle Shively of Scottville, MI, her brother and sister- in-law, Michael and Tara Miller of Arcadia, MI.  Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive her.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, John Joseph Miller Jr. on August 18, 2020.

In Jennifer's honor, the family will receive friends at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee, on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
