Jerry enjoyed listening to country music (the old stuff), also found time to go fishing and deer hunting. He made powder horns and powder flasks with his son Scott, also fishing baits, bows and arrows, all out of different kinds of wood. His special hobby was his cars, most of all, his favorite "Fords" 30-32-36 which were his "babies". He was a former member of the Arcadia Fire Department, where he served for many years.

He is survived by his wife of over 53 years, Carol D.
