Jill Lynn (Domres) Gustafson age 70 of Kaleva, Michigan died Wednesday night, December 13, 2017 at the Oakview Medical Care Facility in Ludington, Michigan.

She was born on June 28, 1947 in Manistee, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Franklin and Dorothy (Schultz) Domres. Jill was a graduate of Onekama High School with the class of 1965. While her children were growing up, Jill stayed at home and raised her family. She then was employed at West Shore Hospital in Manistee and then started working at the Ludington Spectrum Health Hospital in 1990, having started at the bottom as a dishwasher, to a house-keeper, to a nurse's aide and then to a heart monitor technician, and then after a few years she retired. Jill's hobbies included wood burning, sewing, making quilts and crocheting and in her later years enjoyed walking at the Ludington State Park. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Onekama, who enjoyed singing in the church choir.

She is survived by her son and daughter in-law; Steven and Tess Fink of Kaleva, MI., three grandchildren; Trever, Jesse and Coda Fink, her brother and sister in-law; Larry and Maym Domres of Phoenix, Arizona. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Allan Fink, her sister and brother in-law, Patricia and Duane Olson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee with Pastor Kevin McClain officiating. Burial will take place in the spring of 2018 at the Onekama Village Cemetery in Onekama. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday morning, one hour prior to the funeral service at 11:00 AM.
