Surrounded with her family at her side, Juanita Irene Rowe, of Manistee, Michigan, joined her true love into eternal life on June 17, 2023.

Born August 3rd, 1937, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  At the age of 17, Juanita was introduced to the love of her life, Junior Rowe. They were joined in holy matrimony on August 10, 1955. Juanita and Junior were blessed to welcome seven lovely children together. In 1956, Juanita and Junior moved to Manistee, Michigan, where they raised their family.

She is survived by all of her children: Toni and Roger Ensign, Anna Rowe, Robert and Sandy Rowe, Lisa Rowe and Ernie (Wilson), Bonnie Rowe, Virgil Rowe and Eve (Henderson), and Molly & Scott Edens.

The most important aspect of her life was her family. She was nothing less than the most perfect mother and grandmother to all of her babies. Juanita played an exceptionally active role in all of her 16 grandchildren's, 14 great-grandchildren's and 2 great-great-grandchildren's lives. Juanita spent her years as a homemaker. She was known for always ensuring a tidy home was up-kept and maintained. She enjoyed hobbies like sewing. She was especially talented at creating masterpieces such as clothing, blankets, curtains, pillows, and more. Juanita would never turn down a chance to play a game of rummy or Yahtzee, even though most of the time she would let you win. She was obsessed with any good TV program. She loved watching westerns, especially John Wayne. There was never a moment when Juanita's love wasn't felt.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Rowe, and brothers Joseph, Bob, and Harry Beatty.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee with Reverend Basil Lek officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery also in Manistee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the funeral service.
