Kimberley M. Owens , age 52 of Manistee, MI died unexpectedly on Thursday April 12, 2018 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan, surrounded by her family.

Kim was born on March 28, 1966 in Bay City, Michigan the daughter of the late Norman and Susan (Miller) Wisniewski. She was a graduate of Bay City Central High School with the class of 1984. Kim married Charles "Chuck" Owens on May 15, 2009 in Kawai, Hawaii. Kim enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She was a very kind person who always took care of and helped the people she met, and found it in her heart to love them. Her hobbies and enjoyment were spending time on the beach and water, gardening, crafting and crocheting.

Kim is survived by her husband; Chuck Owens, four sons and two daughters in-law; Paul and Katie Close, Tyler and Alie Close, Andrew Owens, and Matthew Owens, her daughter and son in-law; Allyson and Brian Hayward, three grandchildren; Griffin Close, Ada Close, and Saylor Close, her four brothers; Brian Wisniewski, her twin brother, Kevin Wisniewski, Christopher Wisniewski and Jay Wisniewski, her step mother, Francine Wisniewski and her step father, Carl Heim. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her granddaughter; Lucille "Lucy" Ann Close.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee, with Reverend Pablo Martinez celebrant. Cremation will follow the funeral Mass, with burial at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Manistee at a later date.

The Evening Vigil Service will be prayed Friday evening, April 20, 2018 at 8:00 PM at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
