Kimberlyn Jo Somers, "Kimmy" age 63, died at her home in Free Soil, Michigan with her family at her side on December 24, 2022.

She was born on November 23 1959 in Ludington, Michigan, daughter of Raymond D. Matthews and the late Lillian C. (Garcia) Matthews.  Kim married Norm Somers on June 11, 1993 in Niles, Michigan.  Kim was employed for 23 years at the A & W Restaurant, where she was known as the "Pretty Nail Lady" and the "Drive-Thru Lady".

She is survived by her husband Norm Somers of Free Soil, MI, her son Nathaniel Mott of Grand Rapids, MI, her father Raymond Matthews of Free Soil, MI, her sister Dee Brownlee of Grand Rapids, MI and her brother-in-law Daniel Pomeroy of Manistee, MI.  Several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Kim was also preceded in death by her brother & sister-in-law, Marshall & Lesley Matthews and by her sister Robin Pomeroy.

According to Kim's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
