Lance Alan Thomas age 52, of Manistee found peace on the evening of February 20th, 2021.

Lance was born on July 21, 1968 in Manistee, Michigan. He is the son of Alan and Regis (Coe) Thomas. He graduated from Manistee Catholic Central, class of 1986, and went on to attend Grand Valley State University receiving a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.  Summer months during his college years were spent playing catcher for the Manistee Saints baseball team. He lived and worked for many years in the Detroit area employed by several auto industry suppliers. Lance loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his constant smirk, his chew stuffed cheeks, and his ever-present sarcasm.

Lance is survived by his mother, Regis Thomas of Manistee, his sister Michelle (Mike) Hudak, brothers Chris (Amy) Thomas, Casey Thomas and Jason (Missy) Thomas.  Nieces and nephews: Andrew, Kirsen & Nate Hudak, Morgan, Quinn & Addyson Thomas, Allie & Gannon Thomas. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alan Thomas, his infant sister Mary Thomas, paternal grandparents, Angeline & Casimer Thomas and maternal grandparents Joseph & Lucille Coe.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Divine Mercy Parish (St. Joseph Catholic Church) in Manistee with Reverend Zeljko Guberovic celebrant. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery also in Manistee.

The family will receive friends at the church on Friday morning one hour prior to the funeral Mass.
