Leanne M. Gorch age 71 of Manistee, Michigan, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at her home unexpectedly.

She was born on October 23, 1945 in Manistee, Michigan daughter of the late Aloysius "Al" and Christine (Kadzban) Gorch. She was a graduate of Manistee High School with the Class of 1964. She attended Jean's School of Beauty and received her license to practice cosmetology. She owned and operated "Lee's Beauty Shop" in Manistee most of her life, until her retirement. Lee was a member of the Divine Mercy Parish (Saint Joseph Catholic Church) of Manistee.

She is survived by her sister Antoinette "Toni" Gorch of Brethren, MI, two brothers; Richard "Rick" Gorch of St. Johns, MI, and Joel Gorch of Dewitt, MI, her sister in-law; Kathleen Gorch of Manistee, MI, and her aunt Marvine Kadzban of Grandville, MI. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her.

Lee was also preceded in death by her brother Patrick J. Gorch, her sister in-law, Carole Gorch and by her nephew Paul D. Gorch on May 24, 2017.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee with Reverend Richard Schaeffer celebrant. Burial of Leanne's cremated remains will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday morning one hour prior, to the funeral mass at 1:00 PM.

Memorials will be established in Leanne's name for the Divine Mercy Parish or the American Heart Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and will be available at the church on Wednesday morning.
