Lois V. Bahr age 89, of Manistee, Michigan, died peacefully in her sleep, on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at her home. She was born on July 8, 1932 in Manistee, Michigan, daughter of the late Francis and Agnes Franckowiak.

Lois is survived by her daughters, Joy, Sue Ann, Kathleen (Chris), Nancy (Brian) and by her grandchildren: Nathan, Steven, Melanie, Mikaela, Mikenna, Kyler, Keagan, Kallen, Rachel, and Alex.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bahr

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Manistee with Reverend Zeljko Guberovic celebrant. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Manistee.

The family will receive friends at the church on Friday morning, one hour prior to Lois's funeral Mass.

Memorials will be established in Lois's name for Hospice of Michigan and the Guardian Angels Historic Preservation Project. Envelopes will be available at the church on Friday morning.

Out of respect for Lois and her family, those in attendance for her services, are asked to please wear a mask. The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of funeral arrangements.
