Lois Mucha died at the age of 90 after a short illness while staying with her son in Myrtle Beach, SC.

She was born in Manistee, MI on July 15, 1926 to John and Emelia Niesen

and preceded in death by her husband Joseph Michael Mucha also of Manistee. She is survived by her son, Joseph Michael Mucha, Jr., married to Stella, living in Myrtle Beach, SC, her daughter Julie Mucha Woolf, married to Dan, living in Willis, MI and one sibling, Zane Niesen of Manistee. Lois was blessed with 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was a long time member of the Manistee Seventh Day Adventist Church but regularly attended the Belleville Seventh Day Adventist and Myrtle Beach Seventh Day Adventist churches with her children.

Lois faithfully served the children at Kennedy Elementary School cafeteria for

25 years and will be remembered by many.

Her memorial service will be held Saturday, March 11, at 5:00 pm at the Belleville Seventh Day Adventist Church in Belleville, MI. A short interment service will be at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Manistee, Michigan on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10:00 am. The Herbert Funeral home of Manistee is in charge of interment services.
