Lorna June Jurkoski, age 76, of Grant Township, Michigan, died Saturday morning, October 7, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 16, 1947 in Highland Park, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Norman E. and Hilda M. (Erickson) Holster. Lorna married John R. Jurkoski on April 18, 1970 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Manistee, Michigan.

Lorna is survived by her husband, of over 53 years, John "Jack" Jurkoski, her daughter and son in-law, Eva and Benino DeLaGarza, two granddaughters, Davina and Camille DeLaGarza, three sisters and brother's in-law, Fran and Duane Bushfield, Beverly and Chuck Graham and Amy and Howard "Al" Birdsong, her brother in-law and sister in-law, Joseph and Joyce Jurkowski. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son John Eric "Froggy" Jurkoski, Two brothers, Tom and Norman Holster and her father in-law and mother in-law, Dr. John J. and Sally C. (Krusniak) Jurkoski.
