Margaret "Marge" Bromley, age 92 of Manistee, Michigan, died Saturday, January 11, 2025 at her home with her husband at her side. She was born on February 24, 1932 in Manistee, Michigan the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Raczkowski) Mikolajczak. Marge married Robert W. Bromley on September 12, 1953 in Manistee, Michigan.

During her long lifetime Marge enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren and spending time outdoors.

Her summertime favorite for many years was camping with family and friends, especially in their seasonal spot-on Round Lake. Marge loved relaxing on the water, whether it was floating on her raft in the water or reclined in her chair while boating with Bob and the kids. She also enjoyed doing her word search puzzles.

During the winter months she enjoyed cross country skiing and loved snowmobiling on her yellow Ski-Doo, often creating some unlikely situations we can all laugh at even now.

Marge never passed up a chance for playing Michigan Rummy on a Sunday afternoon with her sisters. Her penny jar over the years had changed to quarters, as new games evolved, and the ante and competitiveness rose. Some very spirited conversations and much laughter surrounding the games were always heard.

She is survived by her husband of over 71 years, Robert W. Bromley of Manistee, MI, two daughters and a son in-law, Lynn Graf of Bear Lake, MI, and Kelly and Kevin Kubanek of Holland, MI, four grandchildren, Marla Picardat (Derek Kolk), Cody Graf, Christopher (Lindsay) Janowiak, and Amanda (Mavrick) Meyer, five great grandchildren, Andrew Picardat, Weston Meyer, Walker Meyer and Elloise Janowiak and Eagan Janowiak, her sister and brother in-law, Alice and Ronald Mallison, two brothers, Paul Mikolajczak and his fiancé, Nikki, and Leonard Mikolajczak, her sister in-law, Delphine Mikolajczak, her brother in-law and sister in-law, Pat and Kathy Bromley. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

Marge was also preceded in death by her parents, her son Michael Allen Bromley, her son in-law, Ronald Graf, two sister's and brother's in-law, Virginia and Richard Bromley and Marie and Tony Ortiz, her brother's David, Frank and Carl Mikolajczak, her sister in-law, Cindy Mikolajczak, and sister in-law and brother in-law, Monnie and Bernie Shackelford.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee with Reverend James Bearss celebrant. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery also in Manistee. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday morning, one hour prior to the funeral mass. A funeral luncheon will follow the graveside service, to be held at the St. Joseph Parish Center in Manistee.
