Mary L. Szydlowski (nee Zdrojewski) age 92, a 24 year resident of Manistee and formerly of Cicero, Illinois passed away peacefully on March 22, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Valentine Szydlowski. Born on March 9, 1924 in Cicero, Illinois, fond daughter of the late Mae Pruchniak and Walter Zdrojewski, sister of the late Walter Parker. Mother of Ronald (deceased) (Linda), Sharon (the Late Peter) Casarez, Michaelene (James) Holub, Denise (Craig) Brown, Robin (Deceased) (Peter) and Jill (Robert) Albano. Mary is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great – great grandchild; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.

According to Mary's wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass from The Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee with Reverend Peter Wigton celebrant. Final interment will be in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral mass on Saturday.
