Michael F. Snyder age 67, of Eastlake, MI died peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital in Cadillac, MI with his brother and sisters at his side.

He was born on October 2, 1955 in Mt. Clemens, MI son of the late Rodger W. and Phyllis M. (Sikorski) Snyder.  He was a graduate of Manistee High School class of 1973.  He married Darling "Trish" Schultz on September 30, 2006 in Manistee, Michigan.  She preceded him in death on May 19, 2018.

He was employed with the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Department of Natural Resources until his retirement in April of 2022.

Mike loved sports and was an avid U of M fan and Detroit Lions fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was a past member of the Eastlake Fire Department.  Everyone that knew Mike, knew he was quiet and had a kind soul.

Mike is survived by three sisters, Janet Snyder, Patricia Snyder and Lori Snyder and one brother Everett Snyder, his nieces and nephews, Lenny Rodger Sannes, April Rollf, Henry Snyder, Kati Snyder, Aaron Michael Powers, Natalie Snyder and Erik Mott, and his cat, Black Bart.  Several great nieces and nephews also survive him.

He was preceded in death by his brother Rodger Edward Snyder and his dog Pete.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place and services for Mike will be at a later date. Final interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Manistee.
