Pamela A. Maternowski , age 52 of Grand Rapids, Michigan, died Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids.

She was born on June 27, 1969 in Manistee, Michigan daughter of Donna M. (Bartoszek) Jankwietz and the late Roger L. Jankwietz. Pam was a graduate of Manistee High School with the class of 1987. She attended Ferris State University and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration. Pam married Scott A. Maternowski on May 14, 2016 in Manistee. She enjoyed spending time with her family. One of her great qualities was, that she never met a stranger.

Pam is survived by her husband, Scott A. Maternowski of Grand Rapids, two sons, Adam Kapp of Grand Rapids and James Kapp of Rockford, and her daughter Ashia Maternowski of Grand Rapids, her mother Donna Jankwietz of Manistee, her brother and sister in-law, Ronald and Sarah Jankwietz of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, her sister and brother in-law, Renee and Rick Schoenrock of Grand Rapids, her niece Anna (Tim) Gnade and her nephew Evan Jankwietz all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa,  her great nephew, Cooper Gnade and great niece, Quinn Gnade both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa,  her father in-law, Thomas Maternowski of Manistee, and her sister in-law and brother in-law, Amy and Troy Miles of Kalamazoo.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 13, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee with Reverend Richard Bartoszek celebrant. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery also in Manistee.

The family will receive friends at the church on Monday morning, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at noon.
