Patricia "Patty" Ann Jones, age 67 of Manistee, MI passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, April 30, 2016.
Patty was born on March 10, 1949 in Mt. Pleasant, MI daughter of the late Bob & Elaine Furtaw. Patty was employed in the past as a legal secretary and she served her community acting as a member of the V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary Post # 4499 of Manistee and was a friend to many.
She is survived by her husband: Jerome "Butch" Lijewski, step children & grandchildren; Heather Lijewski, Joe, Liam & Grace Glidden, Joey Lijewski, Nicole,Ayden & Shawn Gianino, her "kids" Buddy & Scooter, Siblings; Terry & Chela Furtaw, Tim & Dorris Furtaw and Ron Furtaw, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the V.F.W. Walsh Post # 4499 in Manistee.
Patty had a very special place in her heart for animals of all kinds, so those wishing to remember Patty may do so by making a donation to PAWS Homeward Bound Animal Shelter of Manistee.
The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of funeral arrangements.
