Patricia Ann (Domres) Olson age 79, formerly of Manistee, died Thursday, November 10, 2016 in Eaton County, Michigan.

She was born on August 25, 1937 in Manistee Township, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Franklin and Dorothy (Schultz) Domres. She was a graduate of Onekama High School with the class of 1955. Patricia married Duane E. Olson on May 24, 1958 in Onekama, Michigan. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2007. Patricia was an administrative secretary to the high school principal at the Onekama Public Schools for thirty years. She was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Arcadia, where she taught Sunday school for many years. After her retirement she enjoyed spending more time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Carrie and Greg Hickok of Eagle, MI, and her son and daughter in-law, Andrew and Lisa Olson of Twin Lake, MI, five grandsons, Carl Olson and his children, Alexis, Allison and Kellan Olson, Nathanael Olson, Alec Olson, Zachary Hickok, and Jacob and Janelle Hickok and their children, James and Amy Hickok, her sister Jill Fink Gustafson of Ludington, MI, and her brother and sister in-law, Larry and Maym Domres of Glendale, Arizona. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

Private family funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee with Reverend Dennis Rahn officiating. Burial followed at the Onekama Village Cemetery in Onekama, Michigan.
