Phyllis J. Schramski, age 78, of Manistee, MI died peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025 in Baltimore, MD.  She was born October 19, 1946 in Manistee, and was the daughter of the late Ernest & Eleanor (Harthun) Schimke.  She was a graduate of Onekama High School with the class of 1964.   Phyllis married Jerome Dale Schramski on October 2, 1971 in Bear Lake, MI.  He preceded her in death unexpectedly on October 8, 1997.  Phyllis was most recently was employed with High Tech Dental of Manistee up until her retirement.

She is survived by her only son & daughter-in-law, Jason & Jamie Schramski and her Grandson, Justin Schramski all of Baldwin, MD.

In addition to her parents and husband Jerome, she was preceded in death by, 2 sisters, Lorraine Fausz and Carol Aultman.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 7, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Onekama with Rev. Jacob Sherry officiating.  Burial will take place in the Spring of 2025 at the Onekama Village Cemetery next to her husband Jerome.

On Thursday, March 6, the family will receive friends for visitation at Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

On Friday morning, Phyllis will lie in state at the church in Onekama one hour prior to the time of service where the family will also be present to receive friends.
