Ralph Edward
Crow
Apr 26, 1948 — Aug 21, 2021
Following a life well lived, Ralph E. Crow entered into eternal life on Saturday, August 21, 2021.
Ralph was born in Frankfort on April 26, 1948 to the late Sam and Evelyn (Lenz) Crow. He grew up in Wellston and graduated from Brethren High School. Ralph married Audrey Wissner on May 20, 1967. They shared 54 wonderful years together.
Ralph served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970 as a military policeman, achieving the rank of sergeant. He then came home to his job at Martin Marietta where he worked as a laboratory analyst for 46 years until his retirement.
Ralph was a member of Divine Mercy Parish and president of the Men's Club. He volunteered at Habitat for Humanity for many years, later serving on the board and as vice president. He helped at Little Mary's Hospitality House when it was first being established by volunteering to pick up and deliver donated items.
Ralph suffered from a physical disability in his later years, but he continued to enjoy life until the Lord called him home. He and his wife enjoyed many vacations with their family. They also enjoyed meeting up with friends at different restaurants each week.
In addition to his wife, he will be lovingly remembered by his daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Scott Markham, his son, Mark Crow, grandchildren Kara and Ben Heavenrich, Nathan and Tiffany Markham, Zachary and Avreil Markham, Ryan Markham and his fiancé Jenna Dills, Sophie Markham and his great-grandson William Markham. Along with his sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Don Reckow, and several nieces and nephews, we will hold him in our hearts forever.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Divine Mercy Parish in Manistee with Father Basil Lek Celebrant. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery also in Manistee, where graveside military honors will be given by the members of the Manistee County United Veterans Council, ritual team.
The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the mass at 11:30 AM.
Those wishing to remember Ralph are asked to consider a donation to Divine Mercy Parish, Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, Manistee County Habitat for Humanity, or Little Mary's Hospitality House.
The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of funeral arrangements.
