Richard "Rick" Gorley, 68, of Manistee, Michigan passed away at his home on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

He was born on June 7, 1953 in Manistee Michigan and was the son of the late Valentine "Walter" and Marie (Shack) Gorley. A lifelong resident of Manistee, Rick graduated from Manistee Catholic Central in 1971 and worked for many years at the Morton Salt Company. Rick loved the outdoors and was known to be a talented fisherman and hunter. Highly outgoing, Rick never met a stranger he couldn't engage in conversation.

Rick is survived by his brother-in-law, Leonard Nelson, of Rockford, Michigan and his niece, Kelly Nelson, of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Ann Nelson.

Cremation has taken place and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 14th at 11:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Divine Mercy Parish) in Manistee, Michigan with Reverend Zeljko Guberovic celebrant. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
