Robert Gene Lindeman age 88, of Manistee, MI died Saturday, July 20, 2024 at his home in Stronach surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 17, 1936 in Stronach, Michigan son of the late Harvey & Dorothy (Jacobs) Lindeman.  Bob was a graduate of Manistee High School class of 1953.  He married Louise E. Bladzik on January 29, 1955 at the First Baptist Church in Manistee.  Bob was employed with Packaging Corporation of America in Filer City, Michigan for 43 years, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed cutting firewood, hunting, fishing and tinkering in his favorite shop!

Bob is survived by his wife of 69 years Louise E. Lindeman of Stronach, MI, two sons & a daughter-in-law: Randy & Mari Lindeman and Layne Lindeman all of Manistee, MI, three daughters & one son-in-law, Cindy Coronado of Wichita, KS, Becky Lindeman of Kaleva, MI and Tammie & John Vandenbrock of Grand Rapids, MI, his brother & sister-in-law, Gary & Dolly Lindeman of Manistee, MI, two sisters, Linda Martin of Lovell, WY  and Jan Karg of Upper Sandusky, OH, 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by a daughter-in-law, Juli Lindeman and his brother & sister-in-law, Larry & Sharon Lindeman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage Baptist Church at 655 E. Parkdale Avenue in Manistee, with Pastor Eric Struble officiating. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service in the fellowship hall, at the church.

Private family graveside service will take place at the Old Stronach Cemetery, in Stronach MI.
