Robert "Bob" Ozimac , age 78 of Manistee, MI., died early Sunday morning, November 7, 2021 at his home.

He was born on April 7, 1943 in Escanaba, Michigan and was the son of the late Frank and Anna (Gersich) Ozimac. Bob was a graduate of Escanaba High School with the class of 1960. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from December 3, 1964 until September 9, 1966. Bob married Sharon Robinson on September 29, 2002 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Manistee. He was a highly respected contractor and builder, who was a perfectionist. He built and remodeled several homes in the area, including two of his own. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and loved to play cards with them at all family gatherings. He also in his spare time, enjoyed riffle and bow deer hunting and watching sports, especially football.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Ozimac, four daughters, Julie (David) Garland, Jody Bottrell (Kreig Petoskey), Jen (Phil) Vadeboncouer, all of Manistee, and Trish (Kipp) Monaghan of Evart, MI, eight grandchildren; Amber, Brooke, Devin, Taylor, Olivia, Tanner, Caleb and Xavian, twelve great grandchildren,  his sister, Mary Crose of Macomb Township, MI, his brother, Kenneth Ozimac of Escanaba, MI, his brother in-law, Peter LaPine of East Lansing, MI, and his friend of over fifty years, Donald Sherman. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.

Bob was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Bartoszek, Carol "Jeanne" Kulaski and Elaine "Deb" LaPine, his brothers, Joseph, Thomas, Donald and Melvin "Mel" Ozimac, his brother's in-law, Florian "Huntz" Bartoszek and Arthur "Bud" Crose and by his grandson, Adam Robert-Lewis Weaver.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
