Ruth Marie Seng, age 85 of Sitka, Alaska, died unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, October 13, 2021, at SEARHC Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center in Sitka, Alaska.

She was born October 3, 1936, in Eastlake, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Edward John and Marcella Adelaide (Guenthardt) Skocelas.  She was a graduate of Muskegon Heights High School class of 1954.  Ruth married William (Bill) Leo Seng on September 22, 1956, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muskegon, Michigan.  Bill and Ruth moved to Manistee, Michigan in 1959 where Ruth lived until she moved to Sitka, Alaska in 2011 where she enjoyed the good life.

The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee, Michigan is in charge of funeral arrangements which will be held in Manistee in the Spring 2022.  Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee, Michigan.
