Shelly M. Theodore, age 47, of New Era, MI passed on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021 at SKLD Care of Whitehall.

She was born May 4, 1974 in Muskegon, MI, daughter of Norman "Mitch" Theodore and Tanya (Callison) Long.  She attended Oakridge High School in Muskegon.  Shelly was a dad's girl.  She enjoyed working alongside her father for years and was employed with his tree service business of Cut Right Tree Service. Shelly enjoyed cooking and spending time with her friends and family.  She was a member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, Allen Matthew Weinrick and Justin Scott Theodore; her daughter, Angelia Marie Theodore; her granddaughter, Livia Marie Jo Weinrick; her brothers, Luke Updyke and James Mitchell Theodore Jr.; her sisters, Amy Lynn Theodore, Julie Ann Theodore, Taryn Nicole Theodore and Tara Jo Theodore; her grandparents, Lillian & Ted Theodore and Gene & Joann Callison.  Numerous nieces, nephews, her aunt and uncle and cousins also survive her.

Funeral Services will take place at Noon on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 at Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee with Pastor Joyce Newman officiating.  Burial will take place immediately following the funeral home service at Corfu Cemetery in Brethren. A light luncheon and time of fellowship will follow at approximately 2:00 PM at the Aki Maadiziwinn Community center located just off of Dontz Rd at 2953 Shaw Be Quo-Ung Rd in Manistee. The family will be at the funeral home from 11:30 AM until the time of service on Tuesday to receive friends.
