Steven Paul Jankowiak , age 57 of Grand Haven, MI died unexpectedly on November 19, 2021at his home in Grand Haven, Michigan.

Steven was born on July 15, 1964 in Manistee, MI and was a graduate of Manistee High School class of 1982.  He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the USS Nassau and was honorably discharged serving from July 6, 1982 to July 5, 1986.  For most of his life he was employed by Meijer's Corp. in Grand Haven MI.

He is survived by his mother Patti Bernard, sister & brother-in-law, Nancy & Mark Tiefenthal, his nephew Jordan Tiefenthal, his niece & nephew-in-law, Jackie & Josh Wissner, his great niece & great nephew, Natalie & Dylan Wissner, his aunt Pearl Sullivan all of Manistee, MI, his cousins, Mandy Sullivan & Michael Ropelawski of Royal Oak, MI, Shawn Sullivan of Georgia, Wendy, Brad & Brian Kosiboski of Florida and his best friends Mike Tomaszewski of Manistee, MI and Brenda Holmes & Erin Tabaldi both of Grand Haven, MI.

He was preceded in death by his brother Alan Jankowiak, maternal grandparents Edward & Josephine Sullivan, his uncle Gary Sullivan and Aunt Vicki Kosiboski.

According to Steven's wishes, cremation has taken place and the burial of his cremated remains, has taken place on the family lot, by his brother Alan, at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Manistee.
