Timothy "Zuch" Zuchowski, aka "Gramps" age 67, of Manistee, MI died peacefully at his home in Grant Township in the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

He was born on October 7, 1957, in Manistee, MI youngest child of 10 to the late Anthony F. & Evelyn M. (Maternowski) Zuchowski.

After high school at the age of 18, Tim was employed with the Hardy Salt Company beginning his long career in the salt industry starting with Hardy Salt to Diamond Crystal to Akzo Salt and then General Chemical opening and closing each plant as they transitioned to the next.

He met Kelly in 1979, and they were married 6 years later in Manistee, sharing 45 years together.

Tim was an exceptional mechanic both at work and at home and could fix anything. He had a wild sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.  He was bullheaded, opinionated and always stuck to his guns, thus making him the wonderfully unique individual he was.  His presence and laughter will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years Kelly, his children, who he was very proud of, daughter and son-in-law, Jamie & Tyler, his son Tony (Rachel), and his granddaughter and apple of his eye Cambria Phoenix he is also survived by his brother, Reverend Robert Zuchowski, his sisters, Joan Roskoski, Susan (Glenn) Holden, Marilyn Adamczak and Debbie (Bruce) Brandt, brothers in law & sisters in law, Mary Zuchowski, Mike & Jon Hull, Betz (Jeff) Urbanavage, Julie (Mark) Modjeski and Janet Hull and many loving nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by 2 sisters & 1 brother in law, Joyce (Robert) Larsen and Beverly Garcia, 2 brothers & 1 sister in law, Richard (Noreen) Zuchowski & Donald Zuchowski and his father in law & mother in law, Chuck & Carol Hull.

A Celebration of Tim's life will take place on Friday, November 29, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee with Reverend James Bearss and Reverend Robert Zuchowski officiating. The family will begin to receive friends from 11:00 a.m. up until the time of celebration at 1:00 p.m.
