Obituary

Tresa McCaslin (Biidwe Ankwad Que) was born April 25th, 1972 in Charlevoix, MI and had passed away at her house a few days before her 53rd birthday, in Wellston, MI on April 21st, 2025.

Tresa had six kids, but over the years she became a mom figure to many. Tresa loved to go hunting and fishing. She enjoyed teaching her grandchildren when she could. She had unique soul that provided generous amounts unconditional love.  Her expressions were offered freely from her heart. She was understanding and caring and always trying to help whenever she could; even when she didn't have much to offer.

Tresa had faced many struggles and challenges throughout her life, but she somehow made it through the most. The past few years of her life were the hardest on her with the loss of two of her children. Now, she is reconnected with what she lost. We hope the everyone can find the peace that Tresa is able to finally feel, and the happiness she would want for everyone.

Enduring the grief of many losses, Tresa's death was followed by her parents Lottie and Gene McCaslin, her two sons Kevin and Stephen, along with her daughter Cherokee.

Tresa will be survived by her children, Kristil, Jonathan, and Lakota; many grandchildren, Neveah, Aiyana, Donald Jr, Kaiden, Jeremiah, Zaryah, Liam, Alaysha, Kaio, Kaia, and Lilly. In addition to Tsedaqah Loura, Zaphira Guenthardt, DonQuez Haynes and the rest of her "community" kids and grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Sandra, Cheryl, Shirley and David (Tracy) Crane.  Her companion, Joseph Knight also survives her.
