Wassia L. Kiogima of Grand Rapids, MI died unexpectedly at the age of 40 in Grand Rapids.

She was born on November 19, 1980 in Clovis, New Mexico she was the precious daughter of Charlotte Lewis and the late Alan Kiogima.  She was a citizen of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians.  Wassia's passion was spending time with her family, humor, music and honoring Anisnawbiimowin.

She is survived by her mother Charlotte Lewis, 2 sisters Wakinyan and Kimimila and 3 brothers Alan, Jay and Dace.  Numerous Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her father Alan, her brother WicahpiLuta, her maternal grandparents Frank & Lavon Lewis and her paternal grandparents Augustine and Helen Kiogima.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
